The origin of this very uniquely processed coffee traces back to the mid-late 19th century, when coffee was transported by boat from India to Europe. Many months of sea winds and humidity caused the beans to swell, ripen, and neutralize their pH. This process is now replicated in large warehouses, exposing the beans to high moisture monsoon winds for 12-16 months.

This coffee grows 1200 metres above seal level and goes through the Monsoon process. It is aimed at those looking for a smooth, creamy bodied coffee with low acidity.  Our roaster uses a unique recipe, created specifically to gently roast these delicate beans in small batches, at 430 degrees Farenheit. It is smooth bodied with notes of chocolate and cashews.

Great Espresso

Created a smooth and creamy espresso. It was also delicious with my Hario coffee dripper.

Best yet for espresso

This makes the thickest, creamiest espresso of any beans I've tried.
I grind 16 grams, rather than usual 17, because it somehow creates more volume in portafilter.
Delicious.

My first experience with Monsooned Malabar was at a friend's house one afternoon. Not a coffee drinker in the afternoon when offer a cup at first I simply said no thanks. Later the companion who I was with decided to have a cup. So being thirsty decided to have a cup myself. What a difference!!! I could not believe the taste difference. After both of us commenting on this coffee we had to ask the name. I ended up having 4 cups that afternoon. No more Tim's.
Yesterday I was able to share the same experience with my sister and nephew who live out of town who are both Tim addicted. She had a cup with milk added and my nephew usually has 3-5 large triple triple a day as a truck driver had his with just cream (NO SUGAR) and both stated as I did NO MORE TIM'S.
Once you have this brand you not desire Tim's again. Such a smooth tasting drink with no after taste.
Give it a try. I dare you!!
